Big Brother Thoughts: Week 6 Eviction Night

Big Brother Thoughts is a weekly look at CBS’s “Big Brother” gameplay covering many of the topics we’ve been reviewing including strategy, persuasion, and more. Note: these thoughts will be based on the TV episodes, predominately from the eviction night show (not the “Live Feeds”).

  • I would have liked to see Alyssa turn down the London trip. It’s almost always better to turn down enticing rewards throughout the game to not give anyone an easy reason to put a target on your back.
  • I always like to see players overcome pressure from other houseguests and ultimately do what he or she feels is best for their own gameplay. Kyle faced heat from The Leftovers, but ultimately stuck with what he felt was best for his game.
  • Outing The Pound was probably a good move on Kyle’s part. He needed to ensure he still had support from some of The Leftovers.
  • In Michael’s goodbye message he outed his alliance and explained his actions in a way where Indy would believe he had good intentions. He may have secured her vote if he makes it to the final two.
  • After winning another competition, the target on Michael’s back is huge. I understand wanting to ensure safety, but I’m curious to see how much longer he can go at the same pace.
