Big Brother Thoughts: Week 10 Eviction Night

Big Brother Thoughts is a weekly look at CBS’s “Big Brother” gameplay covering many of the topics we’ve been reviewing including strategy, persuasion, and more. Note: these thoughts will be based on the TV episodes, predominately from the eviction night show (not the “Live Feeds”).

  • It was impressive to see Brittany win the veto when she needed it the most.
  • Overall, Alyssa did a pretty good job of campaigning to stay another week. I thought she did a great job of laying out her case to Turner in her initial pitch. As the week unfolded, though, she might have been able to play up Monte and Taylor spending more time together.
  • I thought Turner’s goodbye message to Alyssa could have been a little more sympathetic (although it did look highly edited). It is probably partially his communication style but “hope you have fun at the jury house, peace out dude” did not seem like the best jury management.
  • It will be interesting to see if Monte or Turner cuts bait before the final two or if they stick to their pact to the end.
  • From being on the block week in and week out to winning the HOH and securing a top 3 finish, I have admired Taylor’s resilience this season.
