Big Brother Thoughts is a weekly look at CBS’s “Big Brother” gameplay covering many of the topics we’ve been reviewing including strategy, persuasion, and more. Note: these thoughts will be based on the TV episodes, predominately from the eviction night show (not the “Live Feeds”).
- That decision on who to take with you to the final two can be the most challenging. It’s easy to be susceptible to hindsight bias, too, where the better decision looks obvious after the fact.
- In Monte’s response to Indy’s question, I thought it could have been argued that needing to take big risks is usually indicative of a weak position in the game. He had positioned himself to where he didn’t need to take a big risk.
- I thought Taylor saying her strategy was to not have to make big moves was interesting. As a juror, I would probably tend to reward the bigger moves.
- Monte was methodical and made logical arguments throughout his speech. Taylor’s speech was very persuasive.
- Overall, I thought it was a great season: challenging twists, complex houseguests, and a very entertaining finale.
